Interior & Exterior Rennovation
Summary
The customer wanted to convert an unused bedroom into a bathroom, prior to a house extension. After a brief discussion of what was achievable, the customer was happy for us to design and create a statement bathroom with very minimal input from them, even down to us selecting the bold feature tiles and composite panelling. A raised floor area to incorporate motion sensor lighting, allowing to easily install all necessary drainage and plumbing.
After completing the bathroom, the customer wanted to give some other aspects of the house a facelift. The entire exterior of the house has been cladded in 75mm x 35mm Siberian larch vertical strips. This was followed up with anthracite soffit - fascia - gutter & dry verge details. The next renovation was the lounge - patio area. The customer had removed the old ‘weathered’ decking previously fitted, along with the natural stone flooring inside the house.
Under floor heating was fitted internally and screeded by another company. After giving the floor sufficient time to dry, 10mm 800x800mm porcelain tiles were fitted throughout the entire of the lounge-dining area, up the steps to the hallway, up the steps throughout the kitchen and utility area. 20mm porcelain tiles to match the interior, were laid externally creating a new patio/balcony area, then fitted with a new glass balustrade.
